Colloidal Chelated Ionic Mineral Supplements!
What's the Difference? Aren't ALL Minerals the Same?
No they are not
- Colloidal Minerals: One large or several smaller clumped molecules that are too large to penetrate the cell wall held in suspension by a liquid
- Classed as hydrophobic - not water soluble, hard to dissolve
- Have a positive Electric charge
- Less than 8% absorbable (i.e. Let's assume that you wanted to take 100 mg of a specific mineral each day. If you are using a metallic mineral supplement, it is possible that only 8%, or 8 mg would be available for your body to use)
- Must be ingested and digested in order to be used by the cells
- This is what is found in most grocery store supplements
- Have a very low bio-availability. In other words, they may not be much more effective than licking chalk as a source for calcium. In fact, colloidal minerals can be toxic
- If you shine a laser through a container holding liquid colloidal minerals, the laser will pick up the colloidal minerals, causing them to glow like a "snow globe".
- Chelated Minerals: A manufacturing process whereby amino acids or protein are wrapped around metallic minerals that need to be broken down before being abosrbed by the cells.
- The industrial manufacturing process of Chelation is very inefficient, expensive and painstakingly laborious
- If you are taking a "Chelated Mineral Supplement" only about 40% is actually aborbed. The rest is excreted, or remains as toxic particles in the tissues
- Generally only half of the minerals by weight which are put through the process ever really get Chelated properly
- The other half of minerals remain unChelated in their raw state, but remain mixed together with that fraction which has successfully achieved Chelation, their mixture being sold as "Chelated minerals"
- Has a MOLECULAR structure which means it's made up of several atoms
- Must be ingested and digested in order for it to be used by the cells
- Ionic Minerals: Smallest liquefied particle which can enter through the cell wall immediately. They are minerals derived from plants. These don't come from rocks and soil. They are neither metallic nor salts
- Microscopic-sized electrically charged particles
- Through a process called photosynthesis, the plants have converted these precious minerals into minerals that are easily absorbable by the human body
- These plant derived minerals come from humic shale. What's that? Well, it's prehistoric plant life in its concentrated form
- Ionic minerals are an ATOM
- Ionic minerals do not need to be ingested and digested. The atoms are smaller than the human cell, so just by taking the ionic mineral liquid and leaving it in your mouth for 10 seconds, it is immediately absorbed by the cells
- If you shine a laser through a container holding ionic minerals, the laser passes straight through; the ionic minerals being too small to be picked up by the laser beam
Years ago, colloidal minerals were introduced to the market
Even those were generally highly deficient in bio-available minerals. Thus the calcium supplements that are taken to offset the loss of calcium from one's bones for the most part simply pass through the body without being metabolized or used. It's like swallowing marbles--straight through.
But then, sometimes it doesn't pass straight through. Sometimes because of other biochemical anomalies, deviations from the average or normal function the calcium deposits and creates bone spurs, kidney stones, and so on.
This is an irony, i.e. it appears that one has too much calcium and should reduce calcium intake. This is partially true--one should reduce certain types of calcium intake such as calcium carbonate (Coral Calcium) and other non bioavailable forms. Thus, even though the individual has a calcium overload, he/she also has a calcium deficiency--deficiency in the right type of calcium.
What The Vitamin Crowd Never Tells You About Their Supplements
When you are taking a vitamin-mineral tablet, you are taking what is called "METALLIC MINERALS." You only absorb 8-12% of these metallic minerals, the rest passes through you.
If you talk to a chiropractor who x-rays patients, he'll tell you what he sometimes sees lined up in the small intestines: Whole Vitamin & Mineral tablets, like little boxcars, taking a long ride through the intestines.
Before you can use even the normal 8-12% of a metallic mineral, the WHOLE mineral must be broken down by your body. That's asking a lot of a body unless it's already in top shape.
Keep in mind...metallic minerals (also known as elemental minerals or salts) come from
- oyster shell
- calcium carbonate
- limestone
- clay
- sea salts
Supposedly, too much of some of these elements can have toxic effects on your body.
Human beings are not able to efficiently absorb them or to use them. Certain animals are, but we are not. Nevertheless, that's where the minerals in most mineral tablets come from.
